Olivia has ADHD and dyslexia so studying has always been a challenge for her. She says that her time at college has given her so much more than just learning about beauty therapy. An active member of the Student Council representing the other students on her course, she has thrown herself into college life and is thriving. She told us:
Bethany Hilton, is a level 1 beauty therapy student who has always enjoyed playing around with makeup and nails at home but says she chose to come to college because she wanted to learn how to enhance what people had already through different beauty techniques. Her dream is to become a make-up artist and is working towards the Level 3 media make-up course.
Let's face it, the on campus cash machine is lousy. It's either broken or dry of cash way before i can get my money loving hands on it. Not too mention that there is only one on the entire campus.
As the year ends more studies restart, best of luck to you all.
We think it's rather annoying that we walk down the road too and from college and we have to battle our way through 100 meters of people forcing you to take an advertisement to accept jesus or 2 for one on big macs. Taking big discounts and or propaganda to an exit / entrance of a place full of hungry students is very sly to say the least...
The college is trying to discontinue the student free travel pass and bus travel discount. Many Students travel over 4 times a week. The more time they are here the less time they can work to pay for expensive travel.
